Advertisement for the following vacant position:
Vista Clinic is seeking an individual for the position of an Admissions Clerk/Receptionist for a full day permanent position with varying hours in the MHC department.
Purpose of the job:
To deliver a professional Admission and Reception service in the Mental Health field.
Note that this position will require you to work shifts, from Monday to Sunday.
Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Admissions Clerk or Receptionist
Must be bilingual or proficient in English and Afrikaans.
Experience in Delta 9 will be an advantage
Previous administrative experience in a medical environment will be an advantage
Key Performance Areas:
To admit and discharge the MHCU according to Standard Operating Procedures.
To process all documents connected with above processes.
To manage the MHCU waiting list effectively and efficiently
To manage and maintain statistics regarding admissions and discharges.
To manage enquiries according to expected standards.
To perform administrative duties connected to admissions and reception.
To deliver professional switchboard and telephone service
To follow the Delta 9 procedures 100% when capturing information
To deliver a professional and effective Customer Service.
To act in a hosting capacity to all visitors to the Clinic.
To manage financial resources responsibly.
