Maintaining good mental health during COVID-19 is very important, especially during lock down.   Because of the stigma associated with mental illness, Psychiatric hospitals have to think of innovative and creative ways to educate people about mental wellness techniques especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Happiness HELPS principle was started a few years ago by Vista Clinic (Private Psychiatric Hospital). Happiness HELPS is an acronym for 5 easy to do steps to improve mental wellness. Lean on us music video

In order to keep our employees and Clinicians in good spirit during the lock down, we have started to sing at Vista Clinic. According to Dr Bessel van der Kolk, MD getting “in-Sync” with Others is critical during COVID-19. He says that “you calm people down by singing together”. (source YouTube)

Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, the CEO and support employees all joined the Music Therapist to create an inspirational music video called “Lean on us”. The song was taken from the original song “Lean on Me” by Bill Withers.
